Solid composite constructions - SJPFlex

The SJPFlex cast-in-place beam is a prestressed beam. The beams with a functional width of 1 metre are assembled into a solid deck with a compression layer to be cast in place around the beams.

SJPFlex beams can be used for statically determinate and statically indeterminate structures. In a statically indeterminate construction, the longitudinal reinforcement in the compression layer above the support point provides the rigid connection.
The beams can be used for any span from 6 to 16 metres as a deck for bridges, viaducts, parking garages, culverts, tunnels and quays. Also for bridges with different crossing angles, where the transverse reinforcement is placed more or less perpendicular to the beam axis. The beam ends are then provided with a standard chamfer.
